Friday night Colin and I ordered in some Pad Thai, before hitting up the movies to see "The Time Traveller's Wife." (for our 5th month-aversary two days early) The movie was pretty true to the book, and did focus on Henry's darker parts of his life, which I was very happy to see.
Saturday was Colin's dad's big day.It was his Suprise party for his 70th birthday! 70th!?!
The party was also an oppertunity for me to meet the rest of Colin's family. It was an amazing night to say the least, the party was a ton of fun, and his family is wonderful. I had a blast with all of them - everyone drinking made it even better as we danced and sung the night away!
Sunday we took it pretty easy, I was pretty hungover and someone else was extremly hung over. (ha ha) We went to Winks for all day breakfast - which was actually really good, which is suprising since it is a bar. But we have been trying to make it to Winks for breakfast since we first started dating, it was only appropriate to do so on our anniversary!
Colin went to baseball and I went home to nap for about 100 hours. After dinner we went to the movies, again! We saw "The goods", (for the second part of our anniversary, on the correct date) the movie was a little stupid but overall pretty funny. Let's face it, if it has Jeremy Piven in it, I am going to enjoy it!
