Saturday after a few hours of shopping ( I have officially changed my mind about Flannel, because it looks smokin' hot on Colin!) Colin and I hit up the cineplex to see "where the wild things are". I remember reading the book when I was little, but I can't say it was a huge part of my childhood, but when I saw that Dave Eggars wrote the screen play and Spike Jones directed it, I knew it was going to be WONDERFUL - especially at the cineplex. I love childrens movies that actually have imagination, that don't rely on silly hidden adult humor or pop culture to be entertaining. Where the wild things are was everything I thought it would be - put to a sweet soundtrack!
