Time Without Consequence

Last night I met Colin after work and we headed over to his parents for dinner. It ended up being a really amazing time. Jen introduced me to "Pino Noir" which has now taken over my love for "shiraz". Jen, Colin, his parents and I hung around the dinner table all evening talking and drinking some fabulous wine. Jen's boys Matthew and Josh were there as well, and as it turns out Matthew has a crush on me ha ha. I thought it was pretty adorable. He even lied to Colin and I telling us, he was 8 not 7 - to make himself a little older. His cute crush worked really well in our favor because whenever he started to complain about being bored, I would ask him to draw me something - what his Halloween costume is going to be, what mine should be, what our pumpkins should look like etc. I now have all the drawings on our fridge!
All and all the evening was a really great bonding experience, and I am beginning to love his family a little more everytime I see them. Next weekend we are headed to his sister Chrissie's house, we are taking her daughter Hailey and Hailey's friend to Canada's Wonderland for the Halloween Haunt. Considering toast popping out of the toaster often makes me jump (and sometimes scream) it should be a blast! After the trip to Wonderland we are going to stay overnight at Chrissie's and then head into Toronto Sunday for the "Get up Kids" concert!
Tonight, to get the Halloween mood rolling we are having a halloween moive-a-thon! Very excited - I love October, and Halloween AND COLIN - Obvs.

"i don't know what type of road you're on, but i can't come along for this journey"
Last night Colin and I had a lovely date night. First we went to see "Couples Retreat" which despite horrible reviews I loved it! Of course it is your typical Vince Vaughn movie, so it wasn't like I was expecting academy award winning writing or acting, but it made me laugh - a lot, so that's all that matters!
Afterward we strolled on over to Crabby Joe's for our new Wednesday treat - for some $3.oo Corona's and nachos!
As always we had a blast together! Pretty nice when an average day together is always spectacular!

Find a sweater and you'll be better. Autumn's here, autumn's here.

This weekend Colin and I headed North for some family time!
We got in pretty late on Friday night and went right to sleep. Saturday it was actually nice out so we decided to hit the hot shopping in Bracebridge ha ha. Colin searched for flannel (oy) and we made a stop at the new and oddly fancy McDonalds for a Lunch date, before heading back to my parents for Thanksgiving dinner with my grandparents - which was fabulous!
Sunday we went into Barrie to visit my other grandparents, my aunt and cousins had a very informal Thanksgiving dinner where we watched Colin try not to throw a shoe at the TV when the Red Sox lost...and then headed back up North.
My little brother surprised me with a birthday gift - ENTOURAGE season 5 which we then proceeded to watch for the rest of the night. Monday morning, we lazed around and took a nice long walk along the river with Ella and Chloe. Then we came home to hang out with my family and watched "Away we go" with my mom!
Sadly we had to head back to London Monday night
It was a wonderful and very relaxing weekend!

In Other Nerdy News
I dropped my phone in a toilet at the Moksha studio the other day, fortuantly Jenny knew exactly what to do to save it. Put it in a bag of rice! IT WORKED!
A typical evening with my Coiln. Yes WE made a heart shaped cookie with our intials and yes, we ate it in one sitting.
Let the play off beard BEGIN!

This is my life, and I am madly in love with it!
